Exclusive Dog Boarding Facility

This is an exclusive opportunity to leave your dog with us whilst you enjoy a well deserved holiday or short break.

We started this service after being unable to place our beloved Shar Pei, Henry, with any friends or relatives one year when departing for a family holiday in Spain. We looked at all the local kennels in Gloucestershire and beyond but didn't consider any of them suitable for our special friend. Time was against us and we eventually opted for the best one we could find. It was very expensive and not what we wanted for Henry. We were heartbroken when we left him there and vowed never to have to do it again.

We offer you the chance to leave your beloved dog with us. He or she will live as part of the family and will enjoy constant love and attention alongside as much exercise as they can handle!

We only accept 1 dog at a time (sometimes 2 from the same home) and they live in the house with us and our friendly Shar Pei, Henry. He has made some great friends through this service and is a brilliant playmate whilst out on lovely countyside walks. Very occaisonally, holiday schedules may overlap by 24 / 36 hours and your dog may have an extra friend for that period of time although we try our best to avoid it. We NEVER leave dogs alone with each other unsupervised, however well they get on so you can rest assured they're in the very best of care at all times.

Best of all, every dog staying for 7 days or longer, gets a lovely free shampoo and brush so they're smelling great when you pick them up! Extras from our extensive list of treatments can also be added at a preferential rate.

Feeding
You can advise us of diet beforehand or supply your own foods if preffered. We can feed at your dogs usual time and cater for any special requirements, just let us know in advance.

Exercise
We will walk your dog as often as you like. We already offer a walking service so it really is no problem for them to join in on any of the days schedule. No extra charges are incurred. If your dog needs to be specially exercised, let us know and we can tailor a schedule to your dogs own specific needs.

Keeping In Touch
You are welcome to call us anytime to see how your special friend is getting along. In addition to this we can also send you a daily picture message to your mobile phone.If you'd prefer, we can send you photo's and a message letting you know what your dogs been up to via e-mail. There is no extra charge for this service, which is extremely popular with around 90% of our clients.

Insurance & Vaccinations
We are fully covered with Public Liability Insurance. All dogs must be covered by their own pet insurance and we will also need to see an up to date vaccination certificate.

Friendly Dogs Only Please!
As your dog will be living in a family environment and also with another friendly dog, we can only accept non-aggressive dogs. If your dog is aggressive it will not benefit from or enjoy its stay as much as it should. We are not breed phobic and will accept any dog as long as it's friendly. One of Henry's best friends is a male Staffie called Harvey, another is a huge Lurcher cross Lab called Paddy. (see pics). Most dogs naturally fit in to the loving environment we provide.

We can cater for almost any special requirement, be it dietery, medicinal or other. All we ask is that you let us know well in advance.
